Granny Annex - Spare room or extra accommodation!

There are many reasons why you may need a granny annex including extra space for elderly relatives or space for children who are at the right age for independence, but perhaps cannot afford to buy their own house. A granny annex building designed for permanent living will require planning permission and we can help with all aspects of this including architect drawings and liaising directly with your Local Authority planning department.

Our garden annex buildings are designed and constructed as a permanent extension to your living space and can be built to any size you wish. We have considerable experience in building to Part M of the building regulations and can incorporate any accessible features you or users of the annex may need now, or in the future.

The expected disruption from a construction project is avoided thanks to our method of manufacturing as many components as possible in our South Yorkshire factory and the fact we use timber frames.

Timber frames have been used for centuries in construction and are quick and easy to assemble allowing a water tight building to be constructed from DPC level in as little as 2 days, including roof, floor, walls and windows. The speed of construction, combined with our many years of project management experience, gives you a hassle free development ready to move into within 2 weeks, including connection to mains services.

We take care of everything including service connection, decorating and any landscaping work to complement your new annex.
All materials are responsibly sourced for their durability, sustainability, aesthetics and value for money. Check out our standard specification here.

We do not compromise on quality and offer a 10 year guarantee on all our buildings covered by The Consumer Protection Association (membership number 2272).
