The Concepts
Our client needed space where he and his band could practise without fear of disturbing other members of the house or neighbours. After a prolonged search, and discussion with various manufacturers, Room4-You were chosen as the partner.

The Construction
The site was relatively flat and level with vehicle access available. We arrived on site on Monday morning and by Friday evening the 4.8x3.6m Peak style building was complete and ready to decorate. All internal walls were specially constructed to increase thermal and acoustic insulation properties. An air source heat pump provides economical heat in the winter and cool air in the summer.
The Conclusion
The music room has been used now for 8 months and as much as the lady of the house loves blues music she is grateful for the opportunity to not always have to listen! The final design had very few windows to enable maximum sound proofing and the recess was removed to maximise internal space. A replica guitar was fabricated in our Engineering Division which provides a unique addition to the style of the room.
