The e-Kube building is available to view at our show site in Hertfordshire. Located 10 minutes north of the M25, just off the A10, this show site provides an excellent opportunity for you to view the stunning beauty of our designs and admire the craftmanship and durability of our method of construction.
The e-Kube started as a concept for our renewable energy partner, Markwell Green Energy, and quickly became reality when retail space became available at one of the premier garden centres in the UK, The Van Hage Garden Centre, Great Amwell.
Part of our brief was to design a timber frame building that would be as sustainable as possible and offer customers a bespoke solution to any extra space needs with no compromise on comfort. It has been designed and constructed to current building regulations and offers the unique aspect of a roof garden and structural glass cube (courtesy of stunning design from Cantifix). The roof terrace has decking and sedum surrounded by glass balustrade, accessed via a striking structural glass staircase. The whole building offers the ulitmate garden room for the most discerning of home owners with modularity to enable you to choose which features you would like to include.
The e-Kube forms the centre piece of an eco centre by Markwell Green Energy. The e-centre offers visitors an interactive experience to learn how sustainable construction and renewable energy can be used to save you money and reduce your carbon footprint. |
